Kendriya has released notification for online filling of applications for the kendriya vidhyalaya teachers recruitment 2016

Due to large number of filling of online applications, the KVS has extended the last date of filling online applications upto 20th October 2016 upto 2400 hours. Candidates are advised to fill the forms before the last date to avoid the last minute rush.

CBSE has released a public notice regarding CTET examination conducted on 18th Sep 2016

On Oct 14, 2016 CBSE has released a public notice regarding CTET examination conducted on 18th September 2016.

The candidates who had given the CTET examination conducted by CBSE on 18th September 2016 can visit the CBSE CTET website at http://59.179.16.89/cbse/2016/ctetsepomr/  to download their OMR Sheet and Answer Key.

They can also use this website to submit the key challenge for CTET Sep 2016.

Vacancy for the post of Primay Teachers and Primary Teacher (Music) in Kendriya Vidhyalaya (KV) Recruitment 2016-17

KVS has released the vacancies for various posts of Primary Teacher and Primary Teacher(Music), the Pay Scale for the post is Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4200).
Note: According to the recommendations of 7th Pay commission,using the multiplying formula of 2.62,  the Basic Pay turns out to be Rs. 35,500.

PRIMARY TEACHER AND PRIMARY TEACHER (MUSIC)

Essential Qualifications:

1 PRIMARY TEACHER
Essential:
i). Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent.
ii). Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper 1 conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
iii. Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

2 PRIMARY TEACHER (MUSIC)

Essential Qualifications:
i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.
ii) Competence to teach through English\Hindi medium.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES FOR THE POST OF PRIMARY TEACHER AND PRT (MUSIC)

1. For the post of Primary Teacher, the candidate should posses two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
2. The candidates having professional qualification B.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education) are not eligible for the post of Primary Teacher.
3. For the post of Primary Teacher (Music), the candidates who have obtained Diploma in Music are not eligible to apply.

i) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. The elective subjects and languages in the combination of subjects are as under:

1 TGT (English) English as a subject in all the three years.
2 TGT (Hindi) Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
3 TGT(S.St )
Any two of the following:
History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one
must be either History or Geography.
4 TGT (Science) Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
5 TGT (Sanskrit) Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
6 TGT (Maths) Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: -
Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics
