CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test) Nov 2012 Notification (केंद्रीय शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा - नवम्बर 2012 )
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), Delhi has released the notification of the second CTET examination of the year 2012. It will going to be conducted in the following schedule:

Sunday, 18 November 2012 PAPER - II 13.30 TO 15.00 HOURS 1.30 HOURS

Candidates can apply On-line for CTET-NOV 2012 on CBSE/CTET website.
Submission of On-line application: Wednesday, 01 August 2012 to Friday, 31 August 2012

Last date for receipt of Confirmation Page in CBSE, CTET Unit : Friday, 07 September 2012
Note : 7 days grace time i.e. up to 14.09.2012 for receipt of Confirmation Page will be allowed to the candidates belonging to remote areas viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep.
Applicability of CTET:
Applicability of CTET:
- The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and NCT of Delhi.
- CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
- Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.
Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
